If you have arthritis, you can become more active, energized and empowered.

Studies show that physical activity can improve your arthritis pain, function, mood and quality of life. Some physical activity is better than none.

Joint-Friendly Arthritis Programs

  • Enhance®Fitness focuses on stretching, flexibility, balance, low-impact aerobics, and strength training.
  • Tai Ji Quan™: Moving for Better Balance aims to improve balance, coordination, and stability using gentle, low-impact movements based on the forms of Tai Chi.
  • Aquatics Arthritis focuses on core strength, all-over body toning, and improved balance and flexibility.

As a participant, you will:

Thanks to my doctor's insistence I joined the class a year ago. At first the hour was very long and there were exercises I couldn't do. I'm happy to report that now the hour goes quickly and I have gained new skills. It feels good to be able to do things I couldn't do before. An added benefit is the friendly, caring group.
